Donate
Save Sight Now Europe works with scientists, researchers and companies to advance treatments for retinitis pigmentosa in Usher syndrome type 1B. With the support of our scientific committee, we fund the development of therapies and the research that gives us the tools and fills the knowledge gaps that still stand between us and our goal: a treatment for childhood blindness in Usher 1B.
Join us, as an individual or as a company. We stand by every donation and every sponsorship, and we tell you what your support makes possible.

Are you a non-profit organisation?
Since you cannot benefit from tax deductions in Italy, there is no need (and we do not recommend) to donate through Fondo Filantropico. You can donate directly to the Fundació Síndrome d'Usher in Spain: you avoid the administrative contribution and the full amount goes to the research programmes.

Donating from another country?
We cannot offer you a tax deduction from your country, but your donation will still be a great help to the research. You can donate by card or by bank transfer to the Fundació Síndrome d'Usher in Spain.
Would you like to make recurring donations or organise an event? Let's talk. If your country is part of the Giving Europe ↗ network, we will be happy to start the process to open a tax-deductible route there, as we have done in Italy.

IMPULSE
USHER PARTNERS 2026
In 2026, we are launching Usher Partners 2026 to take a step change in scale: a plan with a clear goal to secure continuity across research, data & biomarkers, awareness, and community action, accelerating the path toward treatments.
Over the past four years, SSNEU has invested €2.7 million in research programs through targeted grants and our own funds, accelerating the path toward a treatment for Usher 1B-related vision loss (retinitis pigmentosa).
SSNEU works across three pillars:
-
-
- →Research acceleration
- →Community & data readiness
- →Awareness & fundraising.
-
Every Partner gives scientific continuity: Usher Partners sustain the research and the awareness work that helps accelerate it.
What you can expect from SSNEU
Every partnership includes a clear objective, practical materials, and a final impact report (what was raised, what it enabled, and what we accelerated).
