The newspaper explained that Save Sight Now Europe, together with DRAGO Padel Center, was expecting more than 160 players and would hand out more than €3,000 in prizes, in a weekend open to players, families and the general public, with a solidarity breakfast, raffles, a darts tournament and music.

It also named the many companies and organisations supporting the tournament, and explained the foundation's work: driving and funding scientific research on Usher syndrome to speed up future treatments, giving the disease visibility and supporting affected families.
