It was an honor to represent Usher Syndrome at the EURETINA 2024 Congress in Barcelona during Usher Syndrome Awareness Day. We engaged with leading figures in the retinal disease field, including Isabelle Audo from L’Institut de la Vision and Giacomo Calzetti from the IOB. Our focus and offers are always on accelerating treatment options for Usher Syndrome Type 1B.

We also had the chance to connect with Retina International which presented new insights into the political landscape for IRD and the mental health of patients with retinal degenerative diseases. Collaborating with key industry leaders, including Carlos Ciller from RetinaAI, reinforced the collective efforts toward curing blindness.

Euretina

EURETINA started life as the European Retina, Macula, and Vitreous Society in June 2000. Since then they have grown to over 6,000 members and their annual Congress attracts thousands of delegates.

Their goal is to enable access to the same cutting-edge retina science worldwide. They believe, and we join them on this, that together we can prevent avoidable blindness.
